Lover's Point Engagement Session | Ashley & Sal

Hi there! If you’re new here, welcome to Lauren Weber Photography blog! This week’s blog post is all about a recent engagement session at Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove, CA (right next to Monterey).

This sweet couple met at a night out at a bar one night; and the rest was history. Sal works at his family-owned restaurant here in the Bay Area, and Ashley is a dental assistant. Both of them have the biggest hearts, and their love for each other is so evident in these photos. The way they looked at each other, laughed together; you can tell it’s true love.

Ashley & Sal travel to Monterey together frequently, and the photos on the rocks among the ocean tides was a spot that they loved to travel to together. We started the session at Lover’s Point Beach, just across from Borg’s Ocean Front Motel - and then the couple mentioned that the place that they love to go to. So we hopped in the car and made a short, maybe 3-minute drive over to the other side of the peninsula, and immediately I saw beautiful rock formations and the vast ocean behind it. Lover’s Point is hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen on earth - right up there with Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon in Arizona! I still have to pinch myself sometimes and remind myself how incredibly lucky I am to be photographing madly-in-love couples in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
